Heh, you're really getting yourself tripped up on this one. Calling
it "this fronting of a topicalized noun" is another misstatement of
what's really written. The description in TKD describes it as
"adverbial may actually follow the object noun", not as "topicalized
noun moves to the front".

The two phrases are not equivalent. Yours permits putting a
topicalized object before other type-5-marked nouns, and even seems
to encourage putting the object before time stamps. TKD merely notes
the movement of adverbials.
