How about {qotlh} 'to tickle'? An itch feels to me
like a kind of tickling sensation.

Of course, we have the usual problem of whether
{qotlh} is transitive or intransitive:

?{DubwIj qotlh vay'} "Something tickles my back."
?{qotlh DubwIj} "my back tickles (i.e. has a tickle)"

I'd think the first is more likely, but I've been
wrong before!
