Used in canon:
HoS QaymeH 'och
power transfer conduit (BoP)
nuH HoS 'och
weapon(s) power conduit (BoP)
Miscellaneous notes:
"For the end of a longish enclosed space that one is typically inside of or
experiences from the inside, such as a corridor, tunnel, or conduit (say, a
Jeffries tube or a branch of the sewers of Paris),a different word is used:
{qa'rI'}. This is the only word; it's used for both (or all) ends. The open
entryway leading into such a space is called a {DIn}. If there's a door
there, it's referred to by the usual word for door, {lojmIt}." (HQ 12.2:7)
"... the highly complex {meSchuS}. This is a very large [musical]
instrument, not at all easily moved from place to place, which consists of
a network of interlocking tubes. One tube terminates in the mouthpiece
({ngujlep}) into which the player blows ({SuS})." (KGT 75)
"One kind of {Sor Hap 'In} ["percussion instrument] is a tube, open on both
ends, with a longitudinal slit extending not quite to either end. It is hit
with a {mupwI'Hom}." (KGT 75)
Related nouns:
{DIS} "cave"; {Qargh} "fissure"; {ngech} "valley"; {tlhIlHal} "mine"
I've seen *{naw'meH 'och} used for "access tunnel/tube, Jeffries tube" and
*{'och'a'} for "wormhole (i.e. in space)".
