That was my take on it, too.
FWIW, one thing I dislike about forums is that if you have several
topics of interest, you have to visit that many web pages - something
I find inconvenient. (Not to mention that I'll probably forget to
check one or more places regularly.) Using bookmarks/favourites helps
a little, but not a lot. Using email means everything is in one place
-- your email client.
