As used in canon:

SaqtaHvIS toQDuj wa'vatlh loS vI' jav chorgh 'uj 'ab 'oH
Landing Formation Height: 36.46 M. (KBoP)

Related nouns include {Saqghom} "landing party" and {Saqjan} "landing gear".

During a landing, a ship will use its {'eDSeHcha} "take-off/landing thrusters".

WRT birds, use {Saq} if it alights on the ground, {tlhot} if it lands on
the water (cf. HQ 10.4). We don't know whether {tlhot} is used for
aircraft that land on water, though it seems likely.
