I'd say that "via" in English is more an instrumental ("by means of") than a
locative, and therefore doesn't fall under the umbrella of meanings provided
by {-Daq}. With this in mind, I would recast your sentence to

{pa'Daq vI'elmeH lojmIt vIlo'} or {pa' vI'elmeH lojmIt vIlo'}

as opposed to, say, {pa'Daq vI'elmeH Qorwagh vIlo'} "I entered the room via
the window". I think that's a more likely situation; one normally wouldn't
say {pa'Daq vI'elmeH lojmIt vIlo'}, you'd just say {pa' vI'el}, unless you
really are a fan of extraordinary redundancy in your speech. :)
