possible proverb

QuljIb ([email protected])

A friend of mine came up with the saying, "Before there's a staircase, you must have steps." I have attempted a Klingon translation:

{letlh bIchenmoHchugh, mIwmey bIghojnIS.}
lit. "If you build a staircase, you must have steps."

The use of {mIw} here is deliberate, as the author was discussing the simple steps need to accomplish a task (in her case, arguing a philosophical point) before one can move on to greater things.

Tell me what you think. Is it worthy of inclusion?
