DaH wotmey tIbuSqu'. tlhIngan Hol Dalo'taHvIS mu'tlhegh naQ 'oHlaH wa' wot
(moHaqDaj mojaqmeyDaj je). yIlegh:
Concentrate on verbs now. A verb and its affixes can be an entire sentence
in Klingon:
vIqIpqangchoHchu'taHvIS
while I was clearly willing to begin hitting him
vaj wot tIbuSchugh, tugh bIQumchoHtaH. moHaqmey Daghojchu' 'e' vIchup je.
ngeDbe', 'ach lI'qu'bej.
So if you concentrate on verbs for a little while, you can begin to
communicate quite soon. Also, I recommend that you learn the verb prefixes
perfectly. They're not all that easy, but they're extremely useful.
wot, moHaq, mojaqmey je Daghojpu'DI', DIpmey yIchel, 'ej ngeDchoH Qum.
Once you've learned the verb and its order of suffixes, add nouns into the
equation, and then it gets easier (for the most part).
DaH tlhoS mu'ghom lulaDnISbe' jatlhwI' po'. jIpo'be'qu', 'ach QInmey nap
vIghItlhmeH pIj jIH'e' mu'ghom vIlaDnISbe' je.
Now the more skilled among us almost don't need to read the dictionary
anymore. I'm not expert by any stretch, but often I don't consult the
dictionary in order to compose the more simple messages.
yIDo''eghmoH.
Good luck.
