Unlike {ghargh}, this noun refers to the specific variety of serpent worm considered a delicacy on {Qo'noS}. Using {ghargh} to refer to {qagh} is not incorrect, but would be like referring to escargot as snails, or caviar as fish eggs; while technically correct, it isn't as refined or cultured ("A Matter of Honor" [TNG]).
