{taghwI'} is a "beginner, someone/something that begins"; if anything,
something that starts something else should be *{taghmoHwI'} <g>. But, you
already have {chu'wI'} "trigger", derived from {chu'} "engage, activate,
turn on (a device)" from PK:
javmaH tat chu'wI' vIneHbej.
I definitely want sixty ion triggers.

Not quite. It should be {jIloStaHvIS...}. Okrand wrote about {-vIS} in
TKD (p.43) that "This suffix is always used along with the Type 7 suffix
{-taH} 'continuous'."
Although we are tempted to use other suffixes with {-vIS}, we should
resist. I'm told that Krankor asked Okrand at qep'a' loSDIch whether
{-be'} could be inserted between {-taH} and {-vIS} for a suffix combination
{-taHbe'vIS} (meaning something like "while discontinuously"). Okrand
answered, "That's an interesting question."
