This is not how the pronoun 'e' is used. 'e' is the object of a verb and it
represents the previous sentence as a whole.
... 'e' muDalmoH, mu- says the object is "me", so it can't be 'e'/previous
sentence.
... 'e' vumtaH, I don't think vum can take an object; and if it could, it
wouldn't be muDalmoH.
