This message seems to have gone unanswered too (is Quvar away?), so I'll
give an answer.

You use /-choH/ when your meaning is "start to do something" or "begin to be
something."  Here are some examples:

jIQongchoH
I start to sleep.

bIyoHchoH
You begin to be brave.

yIjatlhchoH
Start talking!

The idea is that the action or quality is a change from what was true
before.  Compare sentences without /-choH/:

jIQong
I sleep.

bIyoH
You are brave.

yIjatlh
Talk!
