tlhIngan Hol jatlhmeH qIb lengwI'
pagh . . . .

(Remember that using /-vaD/ where you have, you've got a Type 5 noun suffix
on the first noun of a noun-noun construction, and that's a no-no according
to TKD 3.4.)

Saying /chetvI' chIm rur DujlIj/ out of the blue would probably resemble its
literal translation: "Your ship is like an empty torpedo tube." The
response would be /qatlh?/

It is my impression that Okrand provides us with a tool for constructing
similies in KGT, rather than just giving us a listing of set, unalterable
sayings.
