The June 2001 issue of HolQeD is now in the hands of the printer, and
should be going out as scheduled at the end of the month. If your
membership in the KLI has expired you should renew at once. Why? Because
the new issue of HolQeD contains more than a dozen new words from Okrand,
several related idioms, and detailed explanations describing their use.
So, whip out your VISA card (or your MasterCard) and head over to the KLI's
merchant page and renew right now. If I've received and processed your
renewal by the day before the membership mailing, your issue will go out in
that same mailing and you won't have to wait any extra time for your copy.
And while you're at the merchant page, sign up for a supporting membership
for the qep'a' chorghDIch. You'll be helping the KLI to defray some of the
costs of the conference, and you'll get the official t-shirt as our
thank-you gift.
Of course, it's still not too late to decide to attend the qep'a' itself.
For a little more money you can register for the conference, and then join
us in Belgium!
