Hmmmm, your email service seems to be adding a \ before every '. This makes
it more difficult to read.

This one seems like it could be a small problem. In the English translation,
"consequently" suggests to me that the second part (I am happy too) happened
because of the first part (I noticed that you are happy). Therefore, you
would want to use {vaj} in this case.
{ghIq} doesn't indicate cause; it indicates that one event happened after
another. So in your Klingon sentence, you are saying that you were happy
after you noticed that I am happy. Although not necessarily *because* you
noticed that I am happy.
Compare these examples of {ghIq} and {vaj}:
{jIreH. ghIq jISop.} "I played. After that, I ate."
{jIvID. vaj jISuv} "I am belligerent. Therefore, I fight."
