sure that, in sequence, this description of prefixes might make sense. But
if you look at in by itself, the description that {lu-} is used when the
subject is plural and the object is singular is absolutely incorrect, and
could be misleading and confusing.
Also, if you didn't see yesterday's lesson, you wouldn't know what all those
{-pu'}'s are about. I'm not saying I think the lessons are bad, or are a
bad idea, I'm just saying that the mailing list might not be the best
presentation mode. >>
While I would like a lesson book, I do appreciate the highlights.
The explanation of lu- says "they do it." To me, this is clear that "we" and
"you plural" are not the plural subjects here.
I have to agree that the highlights need to stand on their own. I have seen
each day's highlight and can follow the train of thought. But, if one does
not see the previous highlights, one does not understand everything that is
being presented. Even so, I can separate out the grammar point itself and
appreciate it.
