=It is definitely velocity that we are considering.  Direction is
important.  I will present three situations.

=1) A vessel accelerates.  A second ago it was going slowly, now it is
going fast.  The direction of the course does not change.  The altitude
does not change.  In order to maintain this altitude, the pilot must lower
the nose. Thus the direction of the nose changes slightly. (If the pilot
did not lower the nose, the vessel would ascend).  While the ship is
changing horizontalness, it is making a pitching movement.  When the change
in horizontal state has ceased, the ship presents a new pitch attitude.

=2) A vessel turns.  The direction changes.  In order to start the vessel
into the turn, the navigator inclines the wings.  That process of inclining
is roll.   While it turns, it does not continue to roll.  The wing
continues to be not horizontal, but the incline does not change.  The
vessel maintains one bank attitude.  When the pilot is ready to stop
turning, s/he returns the wings to level.  That process of change in
horizontal state is also roll.

=3) The vessel starts a descent.  The pilot reduces the power and the nose
pitches down.  The pitch attitude has changed.

= The wings direction is measured?  Yes and no.  If the wing is a spear, we
don't care about it's target, per se ... but now I read your English.  When
you translated it, you added the necessary idea.  (May the inventor of

=Pitch attitude isn't measures in numbers, but I think I undertand your
idea.  Yes.  While the vessel is cruising, it presents a "cruise attitude".
 The nose is neither raised nor lowered.

=The wing does not have to be not inclined.  The wing can be horizontal. It
is the non-horizontality of the aft/fore that I am considering. A vessel
moves about a horizontal line [axis] when it pitches.

= But that's not necessarily so.  Consider a ship.  The ship neither
descends nor ascends.  The ship is heavy.  (The passenger is fat).  In
order to fly, the nose is raised.  (The wing and aerodynamics need to be
taken into account.  Accept it: If the ship is heavy, the nose needs to
point up in order for it to maintain altitude).  Suddenly the fat passenger
is beamed away.  The ship becomes light.  If the power does not change, the
nose must be lowered in order to maintain that altitude.
