I don't think the CD showed the consequences of losing, but I took it to be
one
of those bar games played with dice - and knives (it's a Klingon game after
all!) - to determine who pays for the drinks.  That, or it's just something
to
pass the time between rounds of forehead butting and mu'qaD veS.
