The line spoken in "The Savage Curtain" by the Excalbian was closer to
"Kahless the Unforgettable, who set the pattern for his people's tyranny."
One person's tyranny is another's honor, apparently. :-) It's amusing to
note that the writer's guide for the original series calls the Klingons
savages without honor, but by the next generation honor had become their
defining feature. The early description of Romulans comes much closer to
what the Klingons eventually turned into.
