The {tlh Ingan toQDuj} "Klingon Bird of Prey" poster is slightly different.
I don't see anything resembling an ISBN, but it does bear the logo of the
SciPubTech company, along with the telephone number 1-888-524-STAR and the
URL http://www.scipubtec.com -- but that's apparently a typo for the real
URL http://www.scipubtech.com with an extra "h". Folks here have ordered
it directly from SciPubTech via the web.

At the end of the credits one finds the following acknowledgement:
"Thanks for the support provided by the STAR TREK Art Department. John
Eaves, Herman Zimmerman, Mike Okuda, Rick Sternbach, and Doug Drexler."
Of course, the important credit for the purposes of this forum is the one
giving Marc Okrand's name under the heading "Klingon Translation". :-)

The English translation of the relevant data is as follows:

* Model: B'rel-Class Scout

Officers Quarters' and Non-commissioned Crew Quarters are identified,
but nothing is said about how many people can be accommodated. For
what it's worth, there is one six-person personnel transporter.

The propulsion systems are a little difficult to follow, but it says:
* Impulse Fusion Thrusters - 4
* Atmospheric Take-Off/Landing Thrusters - 6
* Warp Field Generation Arrays - 2
* Warp Field Controller - 2

The sizes given on the poster differ a bit from the DS9 manual.
* Length: 120M
* Attack Formation Height: 82.75M
* Cruise Formation Height: 31.56M
* Landing Formation Height: 36.46M

These are all translations of dimensions given in {'uj} units, and they
crunch down to one {'uj} being about 35 centimeters.

* Mass: 8.7KT

This is *very* different from the DS9 manual information. It's also a
little hard to reconcile with its being a translation of 375 thousand
{cheb'a'mey}, since we already knew that a {cheb'a'} is 9 {cheb}, and
we were told earlier that a {cheb} is close to 5 pounds or 2.25 kg. I
get about 388 {cheb} to the "T", with a "T" coming out at about 1940
pounds or about 873 kg. If we assume a "T" is a 2000 lb "ton", then a
{cheb} works out to 5.15 pounds or so. If we assume a "T" is a 1000 kg
"metric ton", a {cheb} is 2.56 kg or so. Something is a bit off either
in our knowledge of weights, in the translation of this value, or maybe
in the printing of the value itself. It *could* just be a typo.

>P.S. Can anyone tell me where I might find this famed Bird of Prey poster?

I got it at a Star Trek convention in Indianapolis last November. The
company name, telephone number, and URL I gave should help you out.
