TKD p41 says: "{-pu'} perfective. This suffix indicates that an action is
completed. It is often TRANSLATED by the English present perfect (have done
something).
I do not believe that you would say that because the Klingon perfective
TRANSLATES into English as present perfect that it IS the tense present
perfect.
