SuStel:
: I don't see any real problem with {SoHmo' jIHem}; any further disambiguation
: seems like picking nits.

"Because of you I'm proud." I dunno... sounds like feel-good Betazoid pop
psychology to me. If you really want to go in this vague direction, another
option might be:

 SoHDaq jIHem
 In your presence I'm proud.
I'm proud to be (seen) with you.
When I'm with you, I'm proud. (avoiding {tlhej} "accompany")

FWIW, {Hem} "be proud" in canon:

Hem tlhIngan Segh 'ej maHemtaH 'e' wIHech
Klingons are a proud race, and we intend to go on being proud. TKW

 proud as a Klingon KGT

It seems that when we say "I'm proud of you" we are congratulating someone on
what they've accomplished {ta'}. If we want to throw this back on the very
Klingon verb {Qap} "succeed", we could say:

 bIQapmo' jIHem
 bIQapta'mo' jIHem
 bIQapchu'mo' jIHem
 bIQapchu'ta'mo' jIHem ... etc.

And looking at the overused noun, we have of course:

 Qapla'lIjmo' jIHem

If there is some specific accomplishment:

 romuluSngan yo' Dajeyta'mo' jIHem.
I'm proud that you have defeated the Romulan fleet.

 nInumta'mo' jIHem
I'm proud that they have promoted you.

This last is just another way of saying:

 nInumta'mo' qaHoy'
 Congratulations on your promotion!

If you want to use a Type 7 aspect suffix here, I'd choose {-ta'} over
{-pu'}.
If your actions weren't intentional, then you've really accomplished
nothing of
note, nothing worthy of song. It's just dumb luck {Do'}.
