A student and teacher were riding in the forest. They saw a farm in the
distance and decided to visit it. While they were walking the teacher said
to the student, "If we want to obtain knowledge, we must always visit people
and places that we don't know."

When they arrived they could see that the people weren't rich. Three lived
on the farm, a father, his wife, and his son. The teacher approached the
father and asked, "I notice that there is not a flag of a merchant's
business. What do you do to survive here?"

The father said, "We have a cow that produces milk for us. We sell the milk
in the city and we aquire more food."

The teacher thanked him for the infomation and left. He said, "Lead the cow
to the edge of the hill and push it."

The student became scared and asked, "Why do you want me to kill the cow?
That family depends on the cow to survive."

The student pushed the cow. The cow fell and died. The student never forgot
that.

Ten years after it happened the student decided that he would visit the farm
again and confess. He wanted to tell the father that he killed the cow. He
wanted to help that family.

While he was approaching the farm he saw that it was beautiful. Someone
built a new home. He could see a beautiful ship and guards. Everything was
highly developed. He wondered if the family had to sell everything to
survive.

When he arrived at the farm he asked one of the guards, "I visited this farm
ten years ago. What happened to the family that lived here?"

The guard replied, "They still live here."

The student entered the home. He noticed that nothing was changed. He asked
the father, "How did you improve this farm?"

The father said, "We had a cow. He fell from a hill and died. We did not
know, in order to succeed, we needed to improve our abilities."
