The pronoun {'e'} is not used with verbs of saying such as {ja'}.
See the middle of TKD page 67.  Your sentence would properly be said
{pa' DajaHnIS vIja'lu'pu'} or {vIja'lu'pu' pa' DajaHnIS}, translated
"I have been told, 'You must go there.'"
