Hmm -- why go to the trouble of turning a perfectly good verb into a
noun when you're going to put the suffix {-vaD} on it? It seems so
much simpler to leave it as a verb and use the suffix {-meH} instead:
jImugh[taH]meH lI' mu'meylIj.
{-ghach} has its uses; I've used it a couple of times recently myself.
I even put it on a bare verb -- but I've got enough history here that
everyone ought to have understood that I did it intentionally for the
"quoted" effect. ;-) Using it where other tools work just as well or
better, though, always seems odd to me.
