Hab SoSlI' Quch! Hmmm . . .

(1) There was some sort of deal with the Klingons back in the 23rd Century
where some or all of them had smooth foreheads.

(2) Klingons do not discuss this smooth forehead business with outsiders,
and very likely, not much among themselves.

(3) Some, or all, Klingons had their foreheads changed to the ridged variety
sometime in the late 23rd Century.

(2) {Hab SoSlI' Quch} "Your mother has a smooth forehead!" is a really
viscious insult to a Klingon.

Perhaps {Hab SoSlI' Quch} is not a reference to the superiority of the
Klingons' ridged foreheads. Perhaps it is, instead, a reference to the Era
of the Smooth Foreheads. It would imply that your mother is one of those
Klingons who did NOT get her forehead changed along with everyone else, a
ridged forehead being vital to one's honor.

Just a thought. I don't recall if there's anything in Klingon for the
Galactic Traveler which contradicts this.
