pagh wIghaj. bID has unfortunately never been used in canon. I agree with
peHruS that it's probably a number and should precede its noun (e.g. bID
Hong "half impulse power"), while others see it as a noun (is it so labelled
in TKD?) and apply the rules for noun-noun possession (e.g. chab bID "half a
pie" or "the pie's half"). Those of you with TKD handy (mine is at home):
How are the other numbers (pagh, wa', cha', etc.) labelled in the glossary?

We also don't know if there are words for other common fractions (third,
fourth, etc.). In the meantime, we're forced to use percentages. As a hint
for how bID may be used, note that Okrand treats vatlhvI' as a number
preceding the noun it modifies:
cha'maH vagh vatlhvI' Hong. QIt yIghoS!
Slow to one quarter impulse power. ST5 (punctuation uncertain)
For all we know, bID could be a noun that requires a number complement: wa'
bID, cha' bID, wej bID, etc. Perhaps it even refers to a physical half, not
an abstract number:
'Iwchab DaneH'a'? "Do you want some blood pie?"
HIja', bID HInob! "Yes, give me half!"
