To add to the list of choices: if you download a free email program from
Juno - http://www.juno.com - you can subscribe with that and use any font on
your computer to read it. This is an advantage over most web-based free
email services which, like AOL, offer only no-serif text. The disadvantages
of Juno are making a separate phone call from your regular online service to
upload and download mail, and dealing with advertising which is part of the
free deal. Perhaps other similar programs and services are available, but
Juno is the best I've seen.
