nuqneH?
I have been trying to compose a sentence in tlhIngan Hol for the
following idea:
"he/she dreams about battle" / "he/she dreams of battle."
Is it acceptable to just put the object noun (in this case "battle")
directly after the verb for "dream" like this:
may' naj ghaH. "She/He dreams (of/about) honor."
may' najlI'. "She/He (in progress) dreams (of/about) honor."
I have assumed this is not acceptable, and have tried to work around
this construction. Is this assumption correct?
