Now when are you two going to get together and create a combined
tool?

Most of us are not savvy enough with either Unix or Perl to do that.
I have been unsuccesful with modifying his pojwI' (windows version).

I just loved your Lexter/UTA tools, they have helped me immensly
with my dictionary and tracking project.

I recommend the LEXTER for everyone trying to build his/her own
vocabulary: (ftp://members.aol.com/JPKlingon/uta.zip ) I keep a
copy open when reading the THDs (tlhIngon-Hol mailing list Digests).
It is great for finding that one word you couldn't translate. In a
context based language you've gotta know the words to know what is
being discussed.

Are any of you going to be at the qepHom on Dec 13? I'll call
d'Armond today and ask him too.

PS: I added the basic lexicons you provided, blended them with the
pojwI' and charghwI's newwords (NTKD) along with some of what could
be found on this list, to the KL Flash flashcard program. A little
tedious converting the formats, but it has become a very effective
program. Your conversions don't always agree with TKD, so I also
added those alternate definitions you didn't cover as seperate
entries.
A practise session that lasts forever!; there are close to 2500
words in my copy of KLFlash now. My database (a seperate MS Access
'97 file) "Had naQ", is still hovering at around 3300, but not all
of that is verifiably "Canon".

Nothing mentioned in this mesage is intended for profit, resale, or
violates in any way the proprietary copywrite of Paramounts' Star
Trek, and Klingon. Buy Paramount products. Please go to the Klingon
Language Institutes Merchant page:
http://ww.kli.org/kli/Merchant.phtml , and give till it hurts!

Qapla'!
