KLBC tlhIngan yot - 'ay' cha'DIch (was Re: KLBC naDev jIchu')

ghItlh Qov:
>majQa'.  vItIv.  chay' vang beqchaj?

I sent this story before, but I suppose it got lost in the mail. How
easy it is to blame it to the computer... }}:-)
So I send the story again (a slightly different story, 'cos I forgot to save
it too :( )

OBTW, the wo'rIv and ghawran in this story aren't "the" wo'rIv and
ghawran. Maybe their grand-grand-grandparents or so. (Couldn't think
of any good names at the moment }}:-)

tlhIngan yot
The Klingon invasion

wo'rIv ghawran je Daq Sovbe' beq, vaj nej 'e' tagh.
The crew doesn't know the location of Worf and Gowron, so they begin
to search for them.

When it's night, two Klingons go to the Terran surface: Bomrak and Karmob.

Hoch leghbogh ghel tlhInganpu': <juppu'ma' Daleghpu''a'?>
The Klingons ask everyone they see: "Have you seen our friends?"

jang wa' tera'ngan: <Sutraj rur'a' Sutchaj?>
One Terran replies: "Do their clothes resemble yours?"

<HIja'>
"Yes"

<wo'rIv ghawran je bIH'a' pongmeychaj'e'?>
"Their names are Worf and Gowron?"

<HIja'>
"Yes"

<vIleghpu'be'> jang tera'ngan 'ej tlhaQ 'e' Harmo' Hagh.
"I haven't seen them," answers the Terran and laughs because he
thinks he's funny.

Bomrak gets angry and says he wants to kill the man.

When Barmok and Komrab find out that Worf and Gowron are dead, they
are really angry.

loD HoH bomraq neHqu' 'ach bot qamrob.
Bomrak really wants to kill the man, but Kamrob prevents that.

yeptaHvIS qamrob bIghHa' 'ay' lojmIt poSmoH.
Carefully Kamrob opens the door of the prison cell.

bIghHa' 'ay'vo' wo'rIv ghawran je porghmey tlhap.
He takes the bodies of Word and Gowron from the prison cell.
  -- is it {porghmey} or {porghDu'}? I know porgh is not a body
*part*, but...
  -- should it be {wo'rIv ghawran je porgh} or {wo'rIv porgh ghawran
porgh je}?

bIghHa' 'ay' loD 'elmoH.
He makes the man enter the prison cell.
  -- how should I do this sentence properly? It seems to have two
objects this way.

bIghHa' 'ay'Daq ghaHtaHvIS loD lojmIt ngaQmoH.
He locks the door while the man is in the prison cell.

bIghHa'vo' ghoSlaHbe' loD.
The man can't go out of the prison.

wo'rIv ghawran je porgh qengtaHvIS DujDaq chech qamrob bormaq je.
Kamrob and Bormak return to the ship with the bodies of Worf and
Gowron.

<tlhaQ je tlhInganpu'vetlh!> ghaHvaD jatlh
"Those Klingons are funny too!", he says to himself.
  -- I'm not certain which one of these I should use.
