"Where did you hear of us" and "Where did you come from" are very different
concepts. The first might be better worded as "*How* did you hear of us" or
"*From whom* did you hear of us?" The second seems to be asking for one's
origin.
Looks like the meaning you're trying for is
chay' jutu'pu'?
How did you discover us?
There are, of course, other ways that you might reword this; this was merely
the first one to occur to me.
