For those of you who want to attend the qep'a' loSDIch in July but either
1) won't be able to attend the full conference, 2) want to attend but don't
want to stay at the conference hotel, or 3) some combination of the
previous two, here's what you need to do:
Send email to [email protected] with "CONFERENCE EXCEPTION" in the subject
header. Let me know the particulars of your situation. I'll respond with
the pro-rated charges that fit your needs as best as I can. We're trying
to do all we can to make the qep'a' as accessible to as many people as
possible.
On a related note:
Even though it's still months away, I'd rest easier knowing we'd met our
contracted obligation to the conference hotel in terms of the number of
rooms we'll be using. If go over, that's probably not going to be a
problem (and it wouldn't surprise me if by the end of June we're well
over), but as of today we have less than half of the rooms accounted for.
So, if you're intending to come to the qep'a' send in your registration fee
today. Even if you can't send all of it, making a down payment would be a
good thing.
