Simply because a culture doesn't have separate names for what you might 
label as two distinct colors should not suggest that they cannot 
perceive the difference between them.  Do you distinguish between the 
color of the sun half an hour before sun-down and the color of a ripe 
pumpkin?  Probably not.  For our purposes orange is orange.  Having 
different color maps is nothing new when it comes to languages, so I 
would take a step back before inferring either perceptual or 
physiological ramifications

There was an excellent article on this subject in a back issue of HolQeD 
by the way...
