To begin, you MUST read or reread TKD. You must remember that Klingon
sentence structure is Object-Verb-Subject. So, to say "I see the child," you
say {puq vIlegh jIH}, which is literally, "child see I.." Work this part out,
and try again.
An easy way to say "It has not yet been completed" is {wej rIn}. {wej} means
"not yet," and {rIn} means "be finished." "It is not yet finished."
Also, do not try to use nouns as verbs, or vice-versa. "Our prayers" cannot
be translated as *{neHmeyma'}, because {neH} is a verb, not a noun. Usually,
you'll have to recast your English original into a different form before you
can say it in Klingon. And this new form will probably be more verb-based
than noun-based.
