Another possibility might be {paq lulaQ} "They set the books on fire." 
{laQ} is translated as "fire, energize (e.g. thrusters)," i.e. "ignite." 
>From ST3 we have the sole example - {chuyDaH yIlaQ} "Fire the thrusters!" 
- which *might* be a holdover from the very early days of Klingon space
flight when thrusters were rockets (as ours are today). 

Then again, it might not. But we do have another word for "energize" 
in the sense of "send energy to, activate" - {rIH}.  I guess you would
use this when ordering your transporter chief to "Energize!" {yIrIH}.
