My question: Can -lu' be translated this way with -jaj? I can't think
of a more "active" way to phrase this, short of *reH qaDmey Danejjaj*
which isn't quite the same thing.

In Conversational Klingon, we have the toast <QuvlIjDaq yIH tu'be'lu'jaj>
translated as "May your coordinates be free of tribbles", so there is at
least 1 canon use of <-jaj> with <-lu'>.
