Yeah, that tends to happen. You see, often actors are not practiced in
speaking Klingon, and don't always get it right. In fact, the pronunciation
is exactly {Qapla'}. Remember, these letters represent the *sounds* of
Klingon, not the writing system. What you see is what you say.
By the way, this is {Qap} plus {la'}, not {Qa} plus {pla'}. Also, the glottal
stop at the end {'} indicates that the sound is cut off abruptly, not held out
like Gowron does when you get a word right on KCD.
