Non-Windows 95 users ignore this message.
There is a "supposed" Windows 95 to Windows 96 ugrade on the internet that at first glance *appears* to come from Microsoft.
The "upgrade" is NOT from Microsoft.
The file name is win96up.zip and extracts to:
win96up.exe
win96_01.cab
winsetup.bin
file_id.diz
The file has been found at :
http://home.microserve.net/~timr/
DO NOT DOWNLOAD OR RUN THIS FILE.
I do tech support for Microsoft operating systems, and I had a client call me who was trying to get rid of this thing.
Again...
DO NOT DOWNLOAD OR RUN THIS FILE.
If you don't run 95 or you simply don't like it... you can ignore this.
Just thought you might want to know.
