*sigh* No. Just no saying what is and is not the way something must be said
unless it's based on something Okrand did.

The point, which you well know, is that this mailing-list is for discussion of
Klingon (and in it), not to create new Klingon. We study what exists to try
to use it correctly, not expand it to our own liking to do something we
couldn't do before.
For example, no amount of discussion on mathematical terms will convince me
how they're used in Klingon. WE REALLY JUST DON'T KNOW. Really. That's
that. Until Maltz spills the beans, we have to rely on roundabout ways to
describe them. After all, if we were a Latin-learning list, and we didn't
know the word for "door," and none of us had dictionaries available for a few
weeks, we wouldn't just make up a word for it. We'd get by without it until
one of our Latin professors came by and informed us of the word.
If you decide an answer on these unresolved issues, I certainly won't
subscribe to them. If you *derive* an answer from pre-existing facts, I'll
listen.
