11. The Warrior's Unabridged Dictionary (Volume I A-N) $7.00
Warrior press is proud to announce its companion to Marc Okrand's The Klingon
Dictionary, from Pocket Books. This book contains all the words that are NOT
found in The Klingon Dictionary. If you CAN'T find it in The Klingon
Dictionary, check in the Warrior's Unabridged Dictionary. If it's not there,
there's a pretty good chance that there is no reasonable way to express the
concept in Klingon given the present state of our knowledge.
(Volume II O-Z will be available in 1996, but advance orders can be made now.
Cost $7.00.)
12. Homlet: Prince of Kronos (The Hard Bone Blues) $18.00
For the last several years Klingonists have been translating Shakespeare's
plays back into the original Klingon. Now the Interstellar Language School
has produced its own version of the original Homlet. (Homlet means hard bones
in Klingon, which is the origin of the subtitle.) This adaptation is a
paraphrase of the classic play and takes place in ancient Kronos where a
usurper sits on the throne of the Klingon Empire after a dishonorable murder.
Written in the original Klingon side by side with a literal translation into
Federation Standard (English). Scholars will want to compare the classic
Shakespearean play with the "original" version. Illustrated by the First Lady
of the Empire, K'Zhen (Gennie Summers), and maSqa' (Christian Matzke). First
printing is a limited edition, numbered and autographed (250 copies).
Canadians may send checks drawn on Canadian funds in the amount of $26.00.
