Kang,
Klank, Kahless have means or are they just words? >>

It's possible that they have meanings but are lost to antiquity. For example,
my name, Brent, has meaning (steep hill) but, because it is thousands of
years old, has no meaning today. Perhaps Worf, Kor, Kang, Klank, and Kahless
are of that nature. However, they could meaning in contemporary language. It
is clear to any English speaker what Goodman means, and the Puritans often
gave names to their children like Glory to God, which certainly fit their
outlook.
