What I really need to know is which syllable taDI'oS stresses.  I agree with 
~mark that the syllable breakup must be <ta-DI-'oS> in order to conform to 
known Klingon syllables, (record-rubble-represent?  :).  If he stresses the 
first syllable, as I would expect "Thaddeus" to be stressed (am I wrong?), 
then I really can't make out the difference in length of the {I}. 

If the *middle* syllable is stressed, then I can hear the difference.

It's also hard to hear the difference if the third syllable is stressed.  Mind 
you, I'm specifically not adding another glottal stop in the <ta- DI' -oS> 
version.  I've got to concentrate to do it, but I *can* do it.
