I see where you get this, but if something is lessened, then parts of it have 
been taken away, right?

No, actually it says, "One person is taken away this man is the highest."  It 
definitely does not say what you suggest.  (I'm also rather dubious about the 
use of {jen} as "tall."  If I'm standing on a chair, I'm higher than you are, 
even if you are taller than me.)

Quite right.  But why so sexist?  All of your examples are about men!  Use 
{ghot} or {nuv}!  Or just {tera'nganvo'}!  :)
