qep'a' boQwI'pu'

A quick note going out to those of you who:

 a) were at last year's conference (qep'a' wejDIch) and
 b) plan to attend this summer's conference (qep'a' loSDIch) and
 c) would be willing to supply an hour or two of your time to
    help keep things running.

The qep'a' wejDIch was quite exhausting for me, and I remember little of it
other than a general blur. Between having to deal with a hotel that was
becoming increasingly less cooperative, dashing around keeping the
programming going, and sneaking Marc Okrand in, I feel like I didn't get to
see much of the conference myself.

This year I'm trying to delegate things quite a bit more (and maybe avoid
cardiac arrest). The entire event has been broken down into time blocks,
with one or more events scheduled to occur in a given block of time. I'd
like to assign responsibility for the blocks to various teams of people in
such a way that no one has all that much to do.

The Grammarians (past and present) have historically been quite helpful
with this sort of thing and I'm working on the assumption that they'll
continue to be. I'd like to supplement them with some of the newer folk who
were at last year's event (this will also be your chance to get to hang out
and work with a Grammarian!).

So, if you meet the three criteria above, send a quick note to
[email protected] and you too can discover why the Klingon word for
"volunteer" is <<Sap>>.
