What kind of "work" do you intend in the first half? If you mean
"hit it if it doesn't have a job", then try {vumbe'chugh yIqIp}.
For "hit it if it malfunctions" try {QapHa'chugh yIqIp}.
The word "hit" also has another Klingon translation; if by chance
you wanted to say something like "run into it with your car", think
about using {yImup}. :-)
