par'Mach translation

I placed a phone call to a friend at Paramount last week and today's mail
brought the results. I am now in possession of the full text of Klingon
dialogue written for the DSN episode "Looking for par'Mach in All the Wrong
Places." And when I say "full text" I mean not only the Klingon lines, but
parenthetical translations as well.

I'll be reprinting the whole lot in the December issue of HolQeD. Think of
this as a promo, or a teaser for the KLI's 20th issue. Or, if you prefer,
as an incentive to renew your membership if it has lapsed, or a fine reason
to join up if you haven't already done so. The December issue will also
feature a special gift, but it's a surprise so I can't tell you more.

As it only came into my possession today I have only skimmed the
translations as yet. However, even to my ignorant eye it sure doesn't look
like tlhIngan Hol. Mind you, I don't want to open up that whole
"canonical/noncanonical" debate again; I'm sure it will start up again once
the issue is out and you all have a chance to read the material for
yourself.
