The reason I used {-be'} instead of {-Ha'} is because I can't remember any 
canon which uses {-Ha'} on an adjectival verb, whereas I *do* know that {-be'} 
can be used.  {wa'maH yIHmey lI'be'}.  Since TKD section 4:4 says that {-qu'} 
may be used here, but doesn't mention anything else, I have played it safe and 
used {-be'}.

Can anyone point out a canon example of using {-Ha'} on an adjectival verb?
