Except KLBC, right? :-)

Thanks. I'd prepared a personal e-mail before I read this letter. Here is
what I wrote:

Actually, he's still pretty much a newbie. By all means, hold your
conversation, but if I may help you with the grammar a little . . . ?

> De'wI qa'ghaj?

"Computer I have you." If you're trying to ask him "Do you have a computer?"
then you need the subject to be "you," the object to be "computer," and the
verb to be "have." The "you - it" verb prefix (see TKD 33) is {Da-}.

Also, if you're asking a yes/no question, you need to stick {-'a'} at the end
of the verb.

De'wI' Daghaj'a'?

> qa'tera'ngan?

{tera'ngan} is a noun, not a verb. To say "You are a Terran," you say
{tera'ngan SoH}. To make this a yes/no question, as above, just add {-'a'} to
the verb (in this case, {SoH} acts as a verb).

tera'ngan SoH'a'?

Hope that helps!
