qep'a' costs

Based on some email (and some checks) I've been getting there seems to be some
confusion about the costs of the qep'a'. So, let's try and clear that up.

There are basically three costs associated with the qep'a'. They are:

1) Hotel accomodations: $60/$65 (single/double) per night, plus taxes.

All attendees are responsible for managing their own hotel arrangements. Be
sure to tell them you're with the "Klingon group" or they won't reserve your
room in the right location or give you the discounted rate.

2) Banquet: $30/person.

You send this in to me at least a month before the qep'a' so I have time to
figure it all out and arrange for the correct amount of food, tables, etc.

3) Registration: $25 now, $35 after June 15th, or $10 per day.

Some folks seemed to read this as either $25/$35 registration AND a $10 daily
charge. No no no no no no no. The $10 daily charge is the registration fee
paid by those folks who will not be in attendance for the entire meeting

Some examples:

A local Philadephian decides she can only attend on Saturday. She wants to
come for the scheduled events that day, and go to the banquet as well. Her costs
would be $40 ($10 daily registration and $30 banquet).

The emperor's nephew is eager to attend the qep'a'. He'll be there for the
entire duration of the meeting and looks forward to toasting Krankor at the
banquet. He sent in a check for $55 ($25 registration and $30 banquet).

All clear?
